Over the past Five years owner PJ Strain, and the dedicated PWC staff, have carved out a little niche in Historic Ellicott City to create an upscale wine bar without pretension; a café with an amazing variety of healthy, delicious, and creative bistro food.

We know that everyone loves food, and many people love wine. We want to show you how food and wine come together with ambiance and service to become something greater. Led by general manager Amber Elliot our service staff continuously strives to elevate your experience, in a relaxed and professional manner.

With a focus on small plates of fresh, locally sourced ingredients, with creative flavor and presentation, head chef William Horsey Jr. offers a menu with the variety necessary to create snack plates, tapas, light meals, full Mediterranean-style dining, or even just an intimate dessert.

Though we take our wine very seriously we try not to overlook the fact that wine and drink is first meant to be enjoyed. Curated by beverage director Daniel Seward our list represents a wide variety of tastes and styles with a focus on small production gems from unlikely places.

This year PWC opened a new dining room space and have expanded our menu to offer a slightly more refined dining experience. Reservations are suggested to fully enjoy this unique dining experience.

We are also very excited to announce our Patio, with sweeping views of Ellicott City's celebrated main st., historic firehouse museum and the little theatre on the corner. The perfect al fresco experience awaits.
